Pits it against the popularity of PM Narendra Modi
BJP national general secretary P. Muralidhar Rao has termed the proposed third front by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao as “an imagination and daydreaming”.
Talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, he said that the Third Front was known only for instability, corruption and internal squabbles. “There is no leader in the country who can secure votes in other States. Prime Minister Narendra Modi alone has the popularity ranging from Kashmir to Kanya Kumari, having won over the confidence of the people”, he pointed out.
Stating that the TRS was filled with former Congress leaders, ex-naxalites, former pick-pocketers and land grabbers, he said that the BJP would emerge as an alternate to the TRS and attain power in Telangana. He said that they would field BJP candidates with clean image from all the 119 assembly segments in the State against the corrupt and tainted TRS candidates. He dared the government for an open debate on the developmental works taken up in Telangana.
He said the BJP would emerge victorious in South India, beginning its winning streak in Karnataka and later finding its way into Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. He added that the victory of BJP in the northeastern States had showed that all sections of people including tribals, Muslims and Christians were with the BJP.
BJP Kisan Morcha national secretary P. Sugunakar Rao, BJP district president K Srinivas Reddy, Rajanna-Sircilla district president Prathap Ramakrishna were also present.
