Bengaluru, Mar 6 (UNI) The ruling Congress Party has given a worst governance to Karnataka with high levels of corruption and law and order failure which does not deserve another term in the forthcoming Assembly election due in May, BJP General Secretary S Muralidhar Rao alleged on Tuesday.
Speaking during the fourth day of ‘Save Bengaluru’ march taken up by the party, he said the people of the city were witnessing worst type of administration with crime rate increasing to disturbing levels. The sons of prominent Congress leaders were involved in criminal acts while their parents holding government
positions had committed huge scams, Mr Rao alleged, adding this reflected on the Congress Party and it should be rejected in the ensuing election, he said.
He came down heavily against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who he claimed had been spending huge sums of tax payers money to promote himself and his party through advertisements. ‘’He has put flexi hoarding saying he had made Karnataka Number 1 state.
”But it was actually the top state in corruption and crime under his rule”, he charged..
Mr Rao said wherever Prime Minister Narendra Modi went BJP won in that state. In contrary, wherever AICC President Rahul Gandhi goes the Congress loses badly.
The recent verdict in three Northeastern states was the beginning of the end of Congress party and Karnataka people will put the last nail in the coffin of the party in the coming election, he said.
Speaking at the Padayatra former Deputy Chief Minister R Ashok said Congress has been exposed before the media and Goonda Raj exists in Bengaluru and elsewhere in state, as several Congress workers tried to gherao partty padayatra and attack the BJP workers.
Such criminal act will boomerang on the Congress party as the party workers had killed nine BJP and RSS workers, he said.
