Bengaluru, Jan 18 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party is fully prepared to face the Assembly election in Karnataka due before May and will expose the misrule of the Siddaramaiah-led Congress Government, Party
General Secretary P Muralidhar Rao said on Thursday.

Mr Rao, who is also incharge of the party affairs of Karnataka told newsmen here that an unprecedented massive rally will be organized in the city on February 4 where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address at the culmination of the Parivartan Yatra of BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa.

He said unlike the Congress and the Janata Dal (Secular) the BJP had systematically covered 199 assembly segments during the yatra that had traversed over 10,000 km and understood the pulse of the people of the state.

Mr Rao accused Mr Siddaramaiah of raising the communal card and was sidetracking the people from his misrule. He said the BJP would totally expose his corruption at various levels and also for abusing the official machinery for party purposes by announcing in the last lap of his governance after being silent over the last four and-a-half years.

The BJP leader said his party would not remain a silent spectator for Mr Siddaramaiah’s serious charge of dubbing the party as a terrorist organisation and would take on him squarely for the killing of 24 Hindus. ”We can’t remain a silent spectator to such killings” he said and added that the party would also expose the Congress government for not fully implementing various schemes and programmes introduced by the Modi government for the development of the state.

He said that the party would prepare chargesheets against the government at two levels. the first would be a state level one and the other would be on individual constituency level.

On identifying the party candidates for the Assembly election, he said it was being done in a most scientific manner after eliciting opinion of the grassroot level workers and identify those candidates who had greater visibility.

After the Parivartan yatra, BJP in February launch a series of rallies of aggrieved communities which had not benefited from the Siddaramaiah government.
