BJP committed to development of TS

Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary P. Muralidhar Rao has said that Narendra Modi-led NDA Government at the Centre is committed to the development of Telangana and it doesn’t show any partiality between BJP-ruled and non-BJP ruled States.

In the three year rule of the BJP no complaint of partiality from any State nor any political party was heard and this was one of the greatest achievements of Modi. In stark contrast to the Congress led UPA regime the BJP led NDA had never harassed the Opposition ruled States, he said while addressing the Modi Fest organised depicting the achievements of their Government, here on Thursday.

“Our party though supported the issue of Telangana inside and outside Parliament it has not gained votes or seats in the State,” he added.

Muralidhar Rao said after the establishment of NDA rule in 2014 it launched 900 schemes and programmes and all were being executed without giving an iota of scope to corruption and scams. With this people started believing that removal of corruption in the country could be possible only with Modi, he maintained.

Saying that it was not an Italian Government nor Ambanis’ or Adanis’, but it is the Government of Narendra Modi he said it ensured the opening of a whopping 28 crore bank accounts by the poor. Earlier, for the poor it was very difficult to have accounts in banks as they used to deny the facility, he said.

He said in the last few years two crore LPG connections were sanctioned to the poor and as many would be given in the next two years putting a full stop to the age of firewood ovens. He earlier went round stalls installed showcasing the progress achieved by Modi Government. The fest would continue for two more days.
